Hadef H, Bartier JC, Pelaccia T. SAGEC 67, a free-access database linking at least three countries, for finding spare beds in the event of a mass casualty incident. Eur J Emerg Med 2009 Mar 23.
OBJECTIVES: To share hospital beds inside the European community. METHODS: Creation of a website, which can be consulted 24 h a day by physicians from European community. RESULTS: Since the creation of SAGEC 67, more than 300 physicians have found the use of its baseline helpful, especially to avoid problems linked to the fact that emergency departments are overloaded most of the time.
CONCLUSION: SAGEC 67 is a website, which helps the physician in case of mass casualty disaster to face the lack of beds in Europe.
